火鍋是一種湯導熱鍋來涮煮食物的烹調方式。典型的火鍋材料包括毛肚、羊肉、牛肉、海鮮、公仔麵、肉片、豆腐、菇、丸子、冬粉、蔬菜等,將它們放入煮開的湯底燙熟後蘸上調味料食用。火鍋的特色是邊煮邊吃,因為即煮即吃,所以吃的時候食物仍然熱氣騰騰,特別適合在冬季時品嘗,品嘗過後身體暖和,吃麻辣口味的火鍋後身體更暖和。
